i had the most incredible time over the past few days at tara davis studio boutique, with my first ever trunk show! my pop-up shop coincided with the exchange shop hop, and i was set up thursday through saturday. the gradient cakes were definitely the big seller of the weekend, so i'll be focusing more on dyeing those when i do my next update. i'm switching my bases supplier, so it may take a bit of time before i'm able to do that, but i'm really hoping to have some local manitoban farmers as my suppliers for at least some bases. i'll keep you all updated, obviously.
i'll be uploading the remaining yarns and fibre to etsy later today. keep an eye on instagram for the announcement when the listings go live. i'm happy to ship anywhere, and can also upgrade shipping if you need anything expedited/tracked internationally. there will just be an extra shipping charge for those options. i have some paperwork to do first though (yay, grant writing and show applications!), and need to catch up on chores and errands now that the show is over. but i will get the yarns uploaded somehow, i promise.
next weekend, i'm running theatre workshops at égale's national gsa summit, OUTshine 2015. things don't really slow down around here. i have some exciting knitting news to share with you all later this week, so check back around midweek for that.
alright, back to grant applications! thanks to tara for hosting me this weekend, and to all of you who made it out to the show. it was really, really great to see friends, finally meet online friends in real life, and meet new people too. i had a great time, and can't wait to do another show!
